Becoming: Honor

Honor is something I could go on and on about.

There's the commandment "Honor thy father and thy mother"

Notice how it doesn't say "Be obedient to thy father and thy mother"

Nope.  Not even.  It says "Honor".

"Honor", in my book, is synonymous to "bless".

The definition of honor, as a noun, according to dictionary.com (only because that is the only one available to me currently), is integrity, honesty, or fairness in ones beliefs and actions.

That makes sense, right?  Guess what!  You can trust your intuition.  Staying true to your intuition is integrity.  However, sometimes we mess up and we don't do that.  Well, that's ok.  We weren't supposed to come to earth and be perfect.   We were intended to come and strive for righteousness and we have someone who is willing to pay the price for your mistakes.  He's great.  That's an understatement.  When you mess up, apologize, repent, forgive.  Do whatever you feel scared to do, if it is along the lines of those words above.  That's how you reconnect to your intuition.  It feels soooooo good.

Anyway, back to honor.  Honor is earned.  Honor is a boy's way of becoming a man.  Becoming requires action for men.  If you see any boy not doing good things, you should encourage him.  Doing good things is how boys become men.

Do, become, do, become.

This applies to any characteristic any young man can learn/become.  Whether it be a sense of humor, taste in music, love, or even diligence.

Wanna complicate things?  Becoming by doing also requires each individuals personal way of doing.

I wish I had more time to write.  Alas, it cannot be.

Farewell until next time, which, judging by the time span between this and the last post, it may or may not be very long.  xD

Nah, actually.

Goodnight, loves!
